วันที่ 15 พฤษจิกายน 2566 ศูนย์โอมิกส์แห่งชาติได้รับเกียรติเป็นผู้ร่วมจัดงานเสวนาหารือในหัวข้อ “Surveillance on disease dispersal and pathogenicity variation of corn rusts in Asia” ของกลุ่มผู้วิจัยราสนิมในภูมิภาคเอเชีย ประกอบด้วยนักวิจัยจาก Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) ประเทศจีน, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences ประเทศอุซเบกิสถาน, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) ประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ และมหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์
On November 15, 2023, the National Omics Center was honored to co-host a discussion seminar on the topic ‘Surveillance on disease dispersal and pathogenicity variation of corn rusts in Asia’ for the group of rust researchers in the Asian region. The group includes researchers from the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) in China, Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences in Uzbekistan, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) in the Philippines, and Kasetsart University.
หลังจากได้รับเกียรติกล่าวเปิดงานโดย Prof. Dr. Lei Cai จาก Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) ตัวแทนทีมวิจัยจากประเทศต่างๆได้ทำการพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และความก้าวหน้าของโครงการในแต่ละประเทศเพื่อหาแนวทางการแก้ปัญหาและพัฒนางานวิจัยร่วมกัน
After being honored with an opening speech by Prof. Dr.Lei Cai from the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS), representatives from research teams from various countries engaged in discussions to exchange knowledge and progress of projects in each country to find solutions and collaboratively develop research.
จากนั้นเป็นการจัด Technical training เพื่อสร้างความรู้ความเข้าใจต่อกระบวนการวิจัยในด้านต่างๆ แบ่งเป็น 3 หัวข้อ ได้แก่
- Taxonomy of rust fungi โดย Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peng Zhao
- Population genomic analysis โดย Assoc. Prof. Dr. Junmin Liang
- Sampling and Sample preparation for analysis โดย Dr. Wirulda Pootakham
โดยศูนย์โอมิกส์แห่งชาตินำโดย ดร.วิรัลดา ได้จัดการอบรมในส่วนของขั้นตอนการเตรียมตัวอย่างและการสกัด RNA จากตัวอย่างให้ได้ผลลัพธ์ที่มีคุณภาพสูง รวมถึงการใช้เครื่องมือและเทคโนโลยีด้านโอมิกส์เข้ามาช่วยในการทำงานวิจัยให้มีประสิทธิภาพยิ่งขึ้น
Subsequently, a technical training was organized to build knowledge and understanding of various research processes, divided into 3 topics:
- Taxonomy of rust fungi by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Peng Zhao
- Population genomic analysis by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Junmin Liang
- Sampling and Sample preparation for analysis by Dr. Wirulda Pootakham
The National Omics Center, led by Dr. Wirulda, conducted training on the steps of sample preparation and RNA extraction from samples to obtain high-quality results, as well as the use of omics tools and technologies to help make research work more efficient.
