On May 21, 2024, the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand (NSTDA) had the honor of welcoming a delegation from the Philippines National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA). The delegation was led by Dr. Rosemarie G. Edillon, Undersecretary for Policy and Planning of NEDA.
The delegation began their visit by watching a video presentation on the overview of NSTDA. This was followed by a presentation on the mission of Thailand Science Park by Mr. Sanat Wongthawethong, Deputy Director of Thailand Science Park. Ms. Prapatsorn Wejprasit, Senior Business Development Officer at Thailand Science Park, joined to answer questions and provide additional information.
After the discussion, the delegation had the opportunity to visit the TD-X Center (Thailand Science Park & depa Acceleration Center). The TD-X Center was established to develop a platform and create an ecosystem for accelerating the development of SMEs and startups in innovative products or services. The center offers comprehensive and rapid prototype design and development services. The delegation was particularly interested in learning more about the center's work.
