6-17 May 2024 – Under the e-ASIA Joint Research Program, the project titled “Developing integrated agriculture wastes – carbon capture model for mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions in rice production in Asia (IAW-CCM Asia)” led by Dr. Jonaliza Lanceras Siangliw, Senior Researcher from the Innovative Plant Biotechnology and Precision Agriculture Research Team, received financial support from Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B)-Global Partnership Scheme.

The project kick-off meeting was held at the Innovative Plant Biotechnology and Precision Agriculture Research Unit, a BIOTEC satellite unit located at Kasetsart University, Kamphaeng Saen Campus. This collaborative project involves partners from Meiji University and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology in Japan, the National Agriculture and Forestry Research Institute (NAFRI) in Laos, and IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, Padjadjaran University and the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in Indonesia.
