On 2 May 2023, NSTDA President Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong welcomed the visit of delegates attending 2023 ICAO Environmental Regional Seminar for the APAC Region, organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (IAOC). Leading the visitors was Mr. Sarun Benjanirat, Deputy Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.
Visitors were given a facility tour to Electrical and Electronic Products Testing Center (PTEC), one of the national quality infrastructures (NQI) established by NSTDA. PTEC provides professional testing services for electrical and electronic products, covering a wide range of industries including the aviation sector. A number of testing services are offered to ensure the safety of aircraft equipment and parts with testing methods and protocols according to international standards, namely MIL-STD-461, RTCA DO-160, MIL-STD810, UL 2580, UN 38.3, IATA 953, IEC, EX, EX-dm and ATEX.
