Dr. Pongkarn Chakthranont, researcher from the Catalyst Research Team, NANOTEC, NSTDA has been awarded the L’Oréal Thailand “For Women in Science” fellowship in the field of Physical Sciences. She received a research grant of 250,000 baht, along with a certificate of honor, for her project titled “Electrochemical Reaction Acceleration for Energy and Environmental Sustainability.” This initiative aims to develop an electrochemical cell capable of simultaneously facilitating reactions that convert carbon dioxide from greenhouse gas emissions into valuable chemicals, thereby addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainability.
