This event is organized in partnership with Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Innovation, Thailand (MHESI) and its Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC). It additionally counts with the support of: Chulalongkorn University, NANOTEC/NSTDA, Mahidol University, TCELS and CIC-BIOMAGUNE (Spain).

*Enclosed updated program of the event and booklet with the expertise of the members of this Spanish R&D focused delegation to Thailand in the field of nanomedicine.
Its main objective is to promote collaborative research, innovation cooperation, new tech-based partnerships, and business opportunities among Thai and Spanish stakeholders, across the R&D spectrum.
The event will provide a dialogue and networking platform between Thailand and Spain promoting exchange on technological trends, applications of nanotechnology, as a key enabling technology, to future health, personalized medicine and wellbeing.
Additionally, useful information will be shared on the bilateral funding scheme (TLSIP – Thailand & Spain Innovating Program) jointly implemented by CDTI (Spain) and Program Management Unit for Competitiveness (PMUC) (Thailand) promoting and funding innovation-driven R&D cooperation between Spanish and Thai companies and other R&D-performing organizations.
The event will be inaugurated by H.E. Felipe de la Morena, Ambassador of Spain to Thailand and representatives of MHESI, Thailand.
An 11-member delegation from Spain with specific R&D capabilities and expertise in Nanomedicine, will participate at the event, share on their R&D priorities and will be pitching their leads for cooperation and partnership with Thailand. Expertise that ranges from nanodiganostics and nanomaterials with biomedical applications to nanodrug delivery, nano formulation and use of nanoparticles, amongst others for more effective therapeutics, targeted and effective disease treatment.
As part of the event, a roundtable with high-level experts from Spain and Thailand (TH: Siam Bioscience and NANOTEC/NSTDA (Kronolife and Spike Architectonics Co., Ltd.); ES: CIC Biomagune and CIBER-BBN) with academic or industrial background titled Envisioning the Future of Health and the Opportunity for Cooperation. A selected innovative companies and start-ups from Thailand will also be pitching their research outputs and expressions of interest for partnership at the event.
Researchers, technologists, intermediary STI agents attending the event would also have the opportunity to request for meetings with the members of the Spanish delegation 14:00 to 16:00 at Grand Ballroom A, MANDARIN Hotel.
