On 9th February 2010, Chungnam Techno Park (CTP) and Thailand Science Park (TSP) show a mutual interests in promoting industrial research and development and nurturing technology-based businesses solidify the basis of the collaboration in setting up Korea Technology Business Incubator @ Thailand Science Park (hereinafter referred to as KTBI
@ TSP) in Thailand. The representative for MOU signing from Chungnam Techno Park, Korea is Prof. Hak-Min Kim, President, Chungnam Techno Park and representative from Thailand Science Park is Dr. Supat Poopaka , Deputy Executive Director, TMC, NSTDA.
This MOU will bring close collaboration between the two parties. TSP will provide facilities to of approximately 200 square to host KTBI @ TSP in the Garden of Innovation Building in TSP. CTP will consult TSP and select technology-based Korean businesses that will carry out a fair amount of Research and Business Development (R&BD) in KTBI @ TSP. The incubatees in KTBI @ TSP with similar supporting programs as other incubatees in TSP. After “graduation” from the KTBI @ TSP, Korean businesses may continue their R&BD activities in TSP by submitting applications for R&BD Space.
