Thailand automotive industry contributed 12% of the country’s GDP in 2016 and it is the largest in Southeast Asia. With this foundation, there is ample opportunity to move Thailand’s automotive industry up the ladder by enhancing R&D and manpower development in next generation automotive placing emphasis on energy-saving, eco-friendly and safety.
To address this need, NSTDA Academy in collaboration with the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE) organized Basic/Advanced Engineering for Automotive Course on 2-3 April 2019 at Chaophya Park Hotel in Bangkok. This course is among many courses offered by JSAE in Japan and is the most popular one. This course was first taught in Thailand in 2016 and since then, has been offered every year and tailored to the Thai audience. This year, the course was attended by 66 participants from 11 companies, 2 academic institutes and 1 automotive agency.
