NSTDA and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) embarked on a partnership to develop high-caliber scientific graduates in the strategic fields for the national development. The agreement signing ceremony was held at VISTEC with Prof. Dr. Jumras Limtrakul, VISTEC President and Dr. Chadamas Thuvasethakul, NSTDA Vice President for Manpower Development. Honorable guests witnessing the agreement signing include H.E. Dr. Suvit Maesincee, Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Dr. Pailin Chuchottaworn, VISTEC Council Chairman and Mr. Krairit Euchukanonchai, PTT Board Chairman.
Under this partnership, NSTDA and VISTEC will co-fund research projects and scholarships for graduate students and co-develop research-focused doctoral programs to address strategic areas for economic development, as well as support activities such as knowledge exchange, conferences and technology transfer to enable industrial and social applications of science and technology.
VISTEC is a research university founded by PTT Public Company Limited, a leading energy public company of Thailand. Its research clusters cover energy, materials science, biotechnology, bio-inspired robotic and data science and engineering.
