NSTDA welcomed the visit of local representatives from the French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD), the French Research Institute for Development (IRD) and Embassy of France in Thailand to its headquarters at Thailand Science Park on 28 August 2019. The visit aimed at introducing latest development in research initiatives of CIRAD and IRD and funding opportunities for Thai-Franco collaboration to NSTDA researchers in order to foster collaboration between and among research institutes of the two countries.
After an open session on French Funding Opportunities (Franco – Thai Programs) which was warmly attended by NSTDA researchers, French delegates was introduced to NSTDA activities, given a facility tour of Thailand Science Park and held a discussion with NSTDA executive and staff of NSTDA international collaboration office.
