TAIST-Tokyo Tech recently hosted 2021 Virtual Graduation Ceremony for 14 graduates from 3 programs: automotive engineering; information and communication technology for embedded systems; and sustainable energy and resources engineering.

TAIST-Tokyo Tech is a graduate program established under the collaboration between Tokyo Institute of Technology (Tokyo Tech), NSTDA and five Thai universities - King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Kasetsart University and Mahidol University. TAIST-Tokyo Tech aims to produce world-class researchers and high-level engineers.

In her remarks, NSTDA Executive VP Dr. Chadamas Thuvasethakul offered well wishes to all graduates and expressed appreciation to partner organizations for their cooperation and NSTDA national research centers for providing their scientists and facilities to host students’ projects.

The ceremony was also attended by executives of partner universities and supporters of the program, including Prof. Dr. Tetsuya Mizumoto, Executive Vice President for Education, Tokyo Tech; Mr. Uchida Takeshi, First Secretary, Embassy of Japan in Thailand; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, representing KMITL President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Sae Tia, KMUTT President; Prof. Dr. Pruettha Nanakorn, SIIT Director; Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, Kasetsart President; and Prof. Banchong Mahaisavariya, M.D., Mahidol President.
