NSTDA Deep Tech Acceleration Program officially kicked off on 25 February 2021 with a bootcamp for 29 teams of researchers and entrepreneurs in three industrial sectors, namely food technology, assistive technology devices and internet of things (IoT) for smart industry. The 4-day bootcamp offers participants comprehensive knowledge and tips shared by tech startup experts on how to build and succeed in innovation-based businesses, as well as strategy and tools to take ideas to market and thrive in the business. Speakers at the bootcamp include Mr. Surawat Promyotin, Director of Sasin Sustainability and Entrepreneurship Center; Dr. Panachit Kittipanya-ngam, CEO /Co-Founder of a startup ZTRUS; Dr. Jessada Wannasin, an associate professor at Prince of Songkla University and Founder of GISSCO and Dr. Anongnat Somwangthanaroj, an associate professor at Chulalongkorn University and CTO of a food packaging & food contact materials startup.

NSTDA Deep Tech Acceleration is a 6-month program providing innovators and entrepreneurs access to mentorship and other support that help them bring their research to market. Tools for determining human desirability, technology feasibility and business viability will be applied to create innovative products and services meeting demands of target customers and build a business with strong and sustainable growth. Under this program, participants are coached and mentored by experts in various fields and linked to potential investors and business partners.
