An MOU signing ceremony for Thailand Scientific Equipment Network (TSEN) took place on 21 January 2022 at Thailand Science Park. NSTDA Characterization and Testing Service Center (NCTC) was among 21 organizations participating in the agreement to support the operation of Thailand Scientific Equipment Network (TSEN).
TSEN was officially established in 2016 with 17 founding members, with NCTC serving as the network secretariat. It aims to strengthen Thailand’s national quality infrastructure system by working together in the areas of capacity building, manpower development, standards development, database establishment, equipment maintenance and domestic and international collaboration. TSEN currently has 21 members, consisting of (1) Kasetsart University, (2) Khon Kaen University, (3) Chulalongkorn University, (4) Chiang Mai University, (5) Royal Thai Police, (6) Thaksin University, (7) Thammasat University, (8) Naresuan University, (9) Burapha University, (10) King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi, (11) King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, (12) Mae Fah Luang University, (13) Mahidol University, (14) Walailak University, (15) Thailand Institute of Scientific and Technological Research, (16) Silpakorn University, (17) Srinakharinwirot University, (18) Prince of Songkla University, (19) Suranaree University of Technology, (20) Ubon Ratchathani University, and (21) NCTC.
