NSTDA in collaboration with Thai government agencies and enterprises attended the World Congress of Angel Investors WBAF 2022 taking place on 25-26 October 2022 in Antalya, Turkey. Other Thai agencies participating in the event were the National Innovation Agency (NIA) and Thailand Center of Excellence for Life Sciences (TCELS), whereas a Thai startup Winona Biotech took part in the Global Fundraising Stage (GFRS), showcasing its business to investors from 41 countries.
During the event, NSTDA President Prof. Dr. Sukit Limpijumnong signed an agreement with the World Business Angels Investment Forum (WBAF) to engage in manpower development to strengthen an investment ecosystem and an angels network. In addition, NSTDA, NIA and TCELS took on the role of WBAF high commissioners and senators to foster capital markets to empower entrepreneurs and startups.
