On 14 July 2022, NSTDA President Dr. Narong Sirilertworakul paid a visit to the Embassy of Japan in Bangkok and signed the condolence book on the passing of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
Dr. Narong expressed his great respect for the late PM who was a visionary leader. An earnest advocate of science and technology, Mr. Abe served as an Honorary Chairman of the STS forum, a platform for discussions on science and technology and the future of humankind, in which Dr. Narong also serves as a council member.
