NSTDA and AIT have recently signed an MOU for Education and Research Collaboration, the scope of which includes, among others, jointly provide funding or co-funding for student scholarship or seek funding from other agencies to develop the co-research and getting high caliber student to join the collaboration program. Presently, both institutions are in the process of signing the MOA to specify the detail for student scholarship support. This NSTDA-AIT scholarship program aims at promoting education collaboration in the master’s and doctoral degree programs between AIT and NSTDA while producing high caliber researchers/scientists. The program would enable AIT students (who receive HMK’s scholarships or RTG fellowships) to work on their approved research topics under a close co-supervision of AIT faculty and NSTDA researchers. The scholarship includes a top-up monthly allowance and research budget together with in-kind support such as using NSTDA’s lab facilities and research supervision.
